Flightline Aviation are proud to present this absolutely stunning late model YAK 18T for sale.
The YAK 18T is a Russian built, fully aerobatic high performance four seat aircraft.
We believe this aircraft started life in the Russian Military for the first 45 hours and two years of it's life. It was then in storage from 1995-2003. Starting in 2003 the aircraft was completely restored to zero time in Lithuania and Hungary which took around four years to complete. The current owner has owned the aircraft for the last 15 years and was fully involved in the specification of the aircraft during the restoration.
Performance
The performance of this YAK 18T is outstanding. Its M-14P nine cylinder 400hp supercharged radial engine gives this aircraft excellent short field and climb capabilities with a cruise speed of up to 161kts*. For those who would prefer to fly the aircraft at a lesser power setting it would happily sit between 140-150kts burning only 50-60litres of fuel per hour. Using the slightly reduced power setting you will have a range of around 1000nm.
